Merge conversations using the right-hand Conversations sidebar

I haven't found a way to merge conversations without having to first search for a user's email, and selecting all conversations from that user, and then merging.

With a huge support inbox like ours, it's not possible to manually find and select each duplicate conversation from a user among many other requests from other users.

Thus, it would have been great if we could merge conversations from the right-hand Conversations sidebar. I haven't found a way to do it.

My gripe with it at the moment is that it also opens up each user conversation in a new window if I click on any of the existing user's conversations. It also doesn't have a merge option in the dropdown menu anywhere in that new window. Would be great if we could just shift+select all existing convos on the right and merge without having to search for the user's email specifically to single it out.
