Problem:
JIRA cards are created in one project space and later migrate to another for certain teams to work on, which changes the ticket's URL. Front treats the old and new URLs as separate, unconnected issues.
This means conversations linked before a migration from one JIRA space to another stay tied to the old URL, while conversations linked after attach to the new one. When a ticket is resolved and we review linked conversations to notify customers, we only see those on the current URL, missing everyone who reported the issue early, often the customers who've waited longest.
Requested functionality:
When a linked JIRA issue's URL changes due to a JIRA project space change, automatically update the Front-JIRA link so status updates and auto-reopen keep working without manual re-linking.
Why this matters:
Teams that use JIRA project space changes as part of a standard triage-to-engineering handoff will systematically miss notifying customers on resolved issues, with no way to audit what was missed without manual intervention.
