Our company operates multiple business units within a single Front company and uses "Restrict to contact lists" to prevent one team from accessing another team's shared contacts.
The current limitation is that this restriction also prevents teammates from creating or editing private contacts, even though those contacts are only visible to the individual user.
This forces administrators to maintain contact names for everyone and prevents users from populating recipient fields used in templates.
Feature Request:
Allow teammates to create and edit private contacts independently of shared contact permissions. Restricting access to shared contacts should not prevent users from managing their own private contacts.
