We're currently working with the AirCall integration in Front and have run into an issue: when an inbound call or SMS comes in from a phone number we don't yet have stored, Front creates a brand-new contact instead of merging it with the existing contact (who is already in Front by name and email).
It would be great if this could be solved via an automation rule. Suggested logic:
Trigger: new inbound call or SMS
Check: does the name + email match an existing contact?
If yes: add the phone number to the existing contact
If no: create a new contact
This would prevent duplicate contacts and keep our communication history consolidated per patient — especially important for us as a healthcare provider, where patient data often enters Front via multiple channels (email, Doctolib sync, AirCall).
Thanks for considering!
