Views in Front are powerful, but currently the display logic assumes a conversation belongs in only one view at a time. The configuration sits at the Shared Inbox level, rather than being customisable per view.
We would like the ability to configure visibility rules at the individual view level.
For example:
One view filtered by assignment status (e.g. Unassigned only).
A separate personal view that shows all open conversations relevant to the user, including those that are Snoozed or marked as Waiting.
At present, we have to choose one behaviour or the other, which limits flexibility and makes it harder to create workflow-specific views without compromising visibility elsewhere.
Allowing per-view configuration would:
Enable more tailored workflows.
Reduce the need for workaround filters.
Improve clarity and ownership across teams using Shared Inboxes.
This change would make Views significantly more adaptable to real-world operational use cases, especially for teams managing complex, multi-status workflows.
Your idea is now live and open for voting.
If I can summarize, are you specifically looking for views with statuses as a filter?
