Support Account and Contact changes in Audit Logs

In audit logs, I need to be able to see additional info such as who linked a contact to an account, which contact was updated, which account custom field was updated

Front’s current audit logs primarily capture backend or internal system events, but key user actions are often missing. These are critical for operational clarity and troubleshooting. Here's what would be helpful to include:

    Contact & Account Activity

    • Who created, edited, or deleted a contact

    • Who linked or unlinked a contact to an account

    • Who created, edited, or deleted an account

    • What custom fields were added, removed, or updated — and by whom and when

    • A version history of contact and account changes with timestamps and user details

    Tags & Thread Status

    • Who added or removed tags (with tag name and time)

    • Who moved a conversation between inboxes (including source and destination inboxes)

    • Who archived, snoozed, reopened, or deleted a conversation

    Why this matters

    • While many of these actions are technically visible by scrolling through a thread, it takes a significant amount of time — especially in long or active conversations where loading the history is slow.

    • Having this data available in the audit log with proper filters would greatly reduce investigation time.

    • It would enable clearer accountability, simplify troubleshooting, and improve training opportunities.

    • Better visibility into teammate actions also helps avoid errors, especially in workflows that involve multiple stakeholders or time-sensitive communication.
