Problem description:
When using the feature to create a message template, add a contact and potentially other features, if you need to change tab e.g. go to your emails tab (or other tab), in Front to get some information from an email to paste into the template, the information entered already entered clears as soon as you leave the tab or you have to save it and go back in, so when you come back, you have to start over or keep going back into the template (if saved).
Workaround:
The only way around this is to paste the details somewhere else into another application first so you can copy them from the email, to the third party application and then copy them back into the Front Template or Contact set up. I could save the template and then amend the details once I've copied them, but it adds another step again and takes me out of the template, back to the list of created templates and I have to go back into it to continue editing.
Steps to reproduce:
Go to 'Settings' (cog, top right)
Go to 'Message Templates' tab on the left nav pane.
Click 'Create Template' button.
Case 1 follow on steps:
Type something in the 'Name' field OR 'Body' and/or 'Subject'
Click on the email tab icon
Go back to the Template creation page
It will be blank again
The problem here is, that I would like to be able to hold those changes so I can go back and forth to check emails and tickets or paste text from an email to make the template without restarting and having to recopy if I move away. It interrupts the flow of work. I could always discard it if I decide actually I don't want to continue with this template whioch would be better.
Case 2 follow on steps:
Type something in the 'Name' field AND 'Body'.
Click on the email tab icon
Front presents a pop-up asking if I want to discard my changes or cancel
The problem here is, yes I can save the changes, but I will still be taken out to the main template list and have to keep going back in every time I navigate away creating extra steps rather than a quick editing experience.
