Select and merge multiple sidebar conversations

Problem
When viewing conversations in the Contact sidebar, users can't select multiple messages to act on them together, unlike search results.

Request
Enable selecting multiple messages in the Contacts sidebar Conversations list and provide the same bulk actions available in search results, including the ability to merge selected conversations.
