Hi, we also need this functionality having a tag at message level not entire conversation thread. We have conversations with lot of emails back and forth from customers but also from internal departments for which we exclude SLA to be applied The issue of having tags at header conversation is that we will have external messages from our customers for which we need to count our reply time (SLA needs to be applied) and internal messages and other conditions from which we need reply time to be excluded (SLA)
Creating a new tag is not an option as it will be at conversation level so our reply time and first reply time won't be accurate.
We really need this functionality. Thank you for considering Murielle
In short, the tags line up at the top of the conversation, whereas it would have been more advantageous for the tags to be assigned to a mail and not to a thread.
The tag is assigned to the whole conversation, and it would be interesting to be able to exchange different e-mails in the same conversation, while being able to tag the e-mail concerned individually.
Example: Mr. A sends an e-mail in January 2023 to request a certain type of document ==> Tag "document request". In June 2023, the same person sends us an e-mail for a schedule in the same conversation ==> Tag "Schedule".
The problem is that the different tags line up at the top of the conversation and not on the e-mail in question, which can lead to confusion in our priority management if we don't read the e-mail in detail.

Hello,

Have a nice day !
Thank you for elaborating, it will be helpful when our team considers such a feature for the roadmap!
Hi,
We work a lot with tags.

Hi!
Thank you for submitting an idea.
Could you elaborate on the problem you are looking to solve by being able to tag a specific email instead of an entire conversation?
Thanks, Sean
