The ability to change our icon colors would be very helpful to our team as well. I listed the feature request below.
Feature request: Add a user setting to choose the background color for auto-generated initial avatars. This would help teammates personalize profiles and improve visual recognition in conversations.

Our colours just changed for no apparent reason?! With no way to change them back!
