Companies with mixed user populations (e.g., internal employees and external partners or contractors) need more granular control over personal inbox connections in Front. Today, personal inbox channel connection can be blocked uniformly across the entire account, which makes it difficult for organizations that cannot host or manage email for certain subsets of users.
An improvement would be the ability to restrict or allow personal inbox connections at a more granular level, such as by user group, role, domain, or permission set. This would help customers maintain compliance and internal governance while still enabling broader adoption of Front across teams.
