Support Instagram's "Reply to specific message" feature in DMs

The Problem: When an Instagram user replies to a specific message in a DM conversation (using Instagram's long-press > "Reply" feature), the message does not appear in Front at all. The conversation doesn't reopen, snoozes aren't cancelled, and there's no indication anything was received.

Normal messages in the same conversation come through fine. It's only messages sent using this specific "Reply" feature that are missing.

Why This Matters: "Reply to specific message" is a very common Instagram behaviour - users do it to reference what they're responding to. When these messages don't come through, businesses unknowingly ghost their customers. For teams using Snooze to manage follow-ups, there's no trigger to alert them that a response was received.

Current Workaround: Manually cross-checking every Instagram conversation in Meta Business Suite, which defeats the purpose of having a unified inbox.

Suggested Solution: Ideally, pass through the full reply content including the quoted message. If that's not possible due to API limitations, at minimum:

  • Register that a message was received (to trigger reopens/cancel snoozes)

  • Display a placeholder like "[Reply to specific message - view in Instagram]"

This would at least alert teams that they need to check the native app, rather than silently missing customer responses.

Who Benefits: Any team using Front for Instagram DMs - especially those managing high-volume enquiries where Snooze and Archive workflows are essential.
