Currently selecting "Keep assignments when teammate is out of office or busy" is an all or nothing decision.
Currently selecting this option changes all of the following when teammates are set to Out of office or Busy:
New conversations can be assigned to teammates
Existing assigned conversations stay assigned to teammates when there are new activities
Snoozed and assigned conversations stay assigned to teammates when snooze timers expire
Ideally we would be able to make selections for how each of the above situations are handled when out of office and how they are handled when busy. Different teams handle requests with varying levels of time sensitivity.
For example - in some of our departments, when we have someone out of office We would like existing and snoozed conversations to stay assigned, however, we do not want them to be assigned new conversations.
Additionally - it would be nice to have the option to still enable "unassign if inactive for x period of time" so that if someone is gone for longer than a couple days the conversations are eventually unassigned.
