Different to parent tags, this would be where a conversation is tagged for example as an 'account balance' query but the team leader has added a secondary tag of 'urgent' and maybe a 3rd tag of 'complaint'. This may then push it to a view that has been set up for urgent or complaint queries that someone maybe assigned to that day. It tells the CS advisor that its about an account balance, it is urgent and the customer is complaining. So they know the level of preparation needed before responding and they take the right approach with the customer. The issue is that all 3 tags are showing in the analytics reports and is doubling up on categories. What we want to be able to do is chose the primary tag from those 3 so that we can report on primary only. The additional tags are there to assist the CS advisor and to push the email through rules into the right bucket of work or to a person. We cannot set up all tags as parents with sub tags nestled underneath as we have such a wide range of topics that customers email us about it would be impossible.
