View-only Front license

Some admins want to invite colleagues to Front to be able to view or comment on conversations, but don't want to purchase a full Front license for them.

Could we introduce a new category of cheaper license that allows more users to have view-only access to Front, and therefore be more deeply embedded in company operations.

    A "Front-Light" License Option would increase Adoption & Protect Front's CSAT Score! (Merged Idea)


    A "Light" license would be in keeping with the license models available from Google, Microsoft and other SAS Email/CRM vendors. Based on industry standard offerings, a target of $10 p/ "Light" seat for the following functionality makes sense:

    • Core Email

    • Ability to participate in '@' mentions

    • Ability to view but Not Create Tags

    • Access to Side-Bar Apps (HubSpot, Custom, etc.)

    • Access to Participate in but Not Create Discussions

    • Access to Knowledge Base!

    A Company Administrator should be able to select which license type is appropriate for a given user.

    Note: This type of "Light" functionality is partially supported by Front's "Free" " @ Conversation / Discussion Sharing functionality that was recently announced: https://help.front.com/en/articles/2391
