It would be super great if you could add preference setting to autohide the right side bar and left side bar as this really annoying plus covered the email contents. Please make it more user friendly for users who have to work on their laptop which usually has 14"-15" screen.
Upvoting, but would also like to widen scope - while I hope to see a "hide left sidebar" button added, the right-hand app switcher bar is an equally strong candidate for show/hide functionality! (I use it far less often than I do the navbar on the left.)
This issue impacts my entire team: we like to split our screens between Front and a browser window. But when Front is reduced to half-screen width, the far-right side of the conversation panel is obscured behind the app switcher as shown, making emails unreadable.
Our current workaround is to pop each conversation out in a new window, but it'd be far preferable to be able to read the full email text in place. (In the meantime, adjusting the conversation panel to wrap text instead of hiding it behind the app switcher, even in a narrow format, would be a viable solution.)

Thank you!
Different viewing capabilities would be crucial to focus, this being one of them!
Yes, I rarely leave my inbox and would prefer to have a larger compose pane to view text and images without having to open in new tab.
